presents for my nephew

I am biased but my nephew is utterly adorable. I’m loving the cuddles and he opens up for me the whole new world of baby projects. I insisted on making W a baby towel because mine was very important to me when I was an infant and K asked for a wrap blanket from Amy Butler’s Little Stitches.
Both projects were fun to make. I made the pattern for the towel (which was a first), cut up a huge Habitat towel that I bought in the sale and used goldfish fabric by Heather Ross for the binding. For the wrap blanket I trundled over to Fabrics Galore in Battersea and pretty much bought half the shop. Whilst making the blanket I learnt (after a little ranting and raving) how to make large button holes.
I also made a Mei Tai baby carrier from Sew Liberated’s pattern but I forgot to take pictures so I’ll post about it when K sends me a picture or two.

I think your bias is completely accurate, and these are both beautiful and useful

Hi Kim, Thanks for the comment on my website. Maybe I will try the one in October. Lovely to see another uk crafter!
